Homemade Pizza Recipe

Here's the very easy recipe for the Hawaiian Pizza Pandesal I made for our New Year's Eve snack. This is very simple and can be done with your little ones. A recipe that's perfect for someone who has a tight budget but definitely a pizza-lover. If you have an oven toaster at home you can opt to use that or to save electricity charges you could use your pan and stove to heat up your homemade pizza.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes for 10 pcs pandesal
Serving Size: Makes 10-20 servings

The Ingredients:
(list of brands I used for this one which is available here in Manila)

-Marby's Pandesal 400g which contains 10pcs.

-CDO Premium Ham sliced into small pieces

-Del Monte Tidbits Pineapple

-Del Monte Quick&Easy Sweet Pizza Sauce

-Eden Cheese Original or quickmelt grated

How to:

1. Heat your pan on the stove for a few minutes. Meanwhile, grab your bread knife and slice the pandesal in halves.

2. Then, spread a tablespoon of pizza sauce on top of it.

3. Next, scatter some sliced ham. Add your pineapple tidbits and grated cheese.

4. Now, place you pizza pandesal on the pan (in low heat) then, cover it.

5. Wait for about 2-4 minutes or until the back of the bread turns brown and your cheese have melted. And your done!

It's as easy as that. A perfect merienda for your kids and friends. You can experiment on using other ingredients for your homemade pizza just like what they did on pizza parlors. You can use tomato sauce or Italian sauce instead of the sweet style. You can also use meat instead of ham or pepperoni. You can also add bell pepper, onions and mushrooms if you want. If you have enough budget you can also use pizza dough instead. There are a lot of ingredient out there!

  1. Thank you for sharing this recipe! Thanks sis!
