Before December is over I just want to greet you guys a Merry Merry Christmas once again!!! It's the season of giving so don't forget to give back to those you love okay! Haha! I personalized our little tree here with our summer photos.
And before 2014 ends as well, let me take this chance to celebrate my blog's 3rd anniversary. I can't believe I've been a blogger for 3 years now. From my first ever blog post here about my new found hobby: crocheting, I always forgot to post about my blog anniversary. I never thought I would enjoy blogging but I must admit, this is an addicting hobby. This year I scheduled this post so that I would not forget it anymore.
Three years seems to be long but for my blog it's such a short time. Up to now I still consider myself as a newbie blogger because it needs more time to master the craft of blogging. Everyday I discover a new trick or a new layout design. I experiment on tweaking HTML codes on my own to get the look that I want for my blog. You can see that I change template every now and then. Then, I also get to learn from other blogs that I follow and at the same time get inspired from their creations to do-it-myself.
When I started, I really researched about what things to consider
or what things do I need to put up a blog before diving into it. When I finally
made an account on blogger and posted my first ever blog it was really
fulfilling. It was like "oh my gosh I now have my own space on the
web" feeling. Then, I visited craft blogs as well and amazed myself on
their crafts and blog posts. They inspired me to really push this hobby. Then,
after a few post and joining several link parties I get to receive my first
blog comment and it is where I get my motivation. From those comments, I know
there are readers like you out there. They mean a lot to me. Then, my stats
started to swell too. From 10 views a day to more than a hundred views. It was
really terrific. So, if you want to start blogging let me warn you to research
first. But as soon as you have every essentials prepared you'll have no
problem.
Blogging is a way of expressing my self. This is an outlet for me
to spread creativeness and to do what I am passionate about. And I would like
to thank you guys for taking the time to read my posts. I am so grateful for
the views that I have because of you. I am happy being a blogger and I see
myself still doing this in the future. I am actually sorry because I cannot put
up a giveaway so that I can share my blog anniversary with you because I lack
funds and at the same time I really don't know how to do it. Maybe next year
I'll be able to do that. Still I am very thankful to have readers like you.
Please continue visiting my blog and in return I promise to give better DIY
ideas and more relevant contents.
If you have noticed I have a few sponsored posts on my blog. If
you have a product and wanting to have bloggers make a review I'd be glad to do
it. Just email me. But I must warn you again, I only make sponsored posts of
products that I also trust in that way I would maintain my honesty to my
readers and my readers would have the assurance that these products are for
real. This coming year you also get to see blog contest posts that I've joined
and hopefully (crossed-fingers) more craft ideas.
So, Merry Christmas and Happy 3rd Anniversary to us!
Love,
Miss Layne
