From Old Shirt to New Tote Bag!

by - Thursday, August 30, 2012

This is a picture tutorial I made on how to recycle your old shirts. When I learned about this I immediately tried making my own. This is very simple and fun to make. Recycle your old t-shirt and make a new tote bag out of it!

Materials: an old shirt, scissors, thread and needle, sequins and a sewing machine

Optional: Use fabric paints to add designs on your tote bag.

And that's easy as that! Now, you can re-use your old shirt in a fashionable practical way. A recycled tote bag you can use anytime, anywhere. Plus, you can keep it inside your everyday bag for unexpected shopping sprees!
