Yipee! Our Scrapbooks are almost done right? Hmp.. I hope my ideas worked well with yours.

So, for our last Cheap Scrapbooking day, I'll share to you how I came up with my cover design. It's not that pretty or stunning but it's the simplicity that makes me proud of my work. Upon thinking of ways to make my cover good-looking, I did a few research and come up with some fabulous ideas from other crafters out there. You can check that below.

Hi guys! Just got back the mood I've been needing the last few days. I think it's because of the wet weather that I'm not really motivated to make some crafts. But now, I'm happy and my hands are aching to finish my Cheap Scrapbook Project.

Today, I wanted to show you another easy idea to add color to your own cheap scrapbook. Since, most of us are down to putting off the final touches for our scrapbook, this idea came to my mind. Instead of using ready-made scrapbook designs like embossed cardboard decorations, we can make our very own. These embossed cardboard decorations add texture and crafty look to our Cheap Scrapbook Project. "When it rains, it pours," that's what we've been experiencing right now here in the Philippines. Lately, it's always raining which makes me want to stay in bed longer. It's hard to drag yourself out of bed these days that's why I also find it difficult to make some crafts. But I suddenly realized that my Cheap Scrapbooking Ideas is coming to an end and we're down to the last two scrapbooking days. I hope that my previous posts helped you with new ideas you can make your own. I just posted the most simple ways to make those DIY's and of course you can alter those with your own creative ideas. Scrapbooking is fun and made cheaper with those DIY's I made. Honestly, I don't spend a coin with that, I just used what resources we have at home. Yep! It’s my fifth scrapbooking day and I was searching for ideas on how to add life and color to my scrapbook. And I found some old rubber mats at home and decided to use them with my scrapbooking. So, I’m turning those old rubber mats into a do-it-yourself recycled rubber stamp. 

If you want to make your own here are the things you need: 

• Old rubber mats (small pieces would be better) 
• Pencil 
• Cutter or small knife 
• Poster color

A do-it-yourself paper tag that's versatile and easy to make. You can use it as a gift tag, a book mark, a scrapbook design or a tag for your personal things with no expenses at all.

What you need:

-a piece of old folder or cardboard

-glue

-ruler

-pencil and eraser

-pair of scissors

-strips of ribbon

-tissue paper

What part of my life do I cherish the most? What events would I really treasure? What pictures do I always wanna see?

These are some of the questions I had in mind when I was thinking about my new scrapbook theme. Luckily, I don't have to worry much because I decided not to limit myself. Since I had finished college, there had been fewer hang outs with friends and lesser chances of attending important gatherings. But there had been a lot of time to spent with my family and relatives, greater chance to improve my skills and enjoy my hobbies. So, it immediately came to my mind, my new scrapbook theme would be "all about my life after college". Well, that's quite obvious to think of but it's the perfect scrapbook theme right now. And all of my recent photos and collection of stuff goes with this theme.

Thinking of scrapbook themes would be easy if you're in the mood and you had inspiration and when you already have the things you want to preserve. May it be about your childhood, your adventures at school, your first steps to college, your first love, your family life or just about your everyday activities would be ideal. Be creative!

And if you think they still cost much here's my own do-it-yourself scrapbook idea that is not expensive and easy to do. Let me share to you my day to day scrapbooking adventure as I tighten my belt and save a few coins instead of buying all the supplies that I would be using.
