Crochet Necklace with cross pendant

By Monday, April 01, 2013 ,

How was your Holy Week?

Me and my family spent the Holy Week at home. We did not go elsewhere because we want to spend the week together. We just watched the TV Mass and the Lenten Recollection. We also watched some movies and listen to each other's stories while relaxing at home. Yesterday, we attended the Easter Mass and had lunch at my aunt's place. And now, everything was back to normal.

During the Holy Week, I did managed to make a crochet project. It was inspired by the Lenten Season and my need for a unique accessory. I found a free pattern and immediately made my own version.

It was summer here in Philippines and the weather's really hot. Since, it's summer I was looking for cool  accessories I can use, specifically a unique necklace. And I found what I was looking for. It came to me, why don't I crochet my own necklace.

And here's the crochet project I had. A crochet necklace with a cross pendant.

The pattern is easy and I finished mine in 2 hours. You can of course, customize the pattern and use different materials or color of thread. I used a crochet thread in burgundy on mine.

Sorry, I was on my sleeping clothes :)

I think the outcome is so pretty and classy. It's really a unique accessory and not everyone can create or crochet their own. So, if you know how to crochet why don't you try making your own.

I found the Cross Pendant pattern HERE.

I just add up the chain part and you can adjust your own. Just keep on making chains until you achieve your desired length.

And you can now wear your very own Crochet Necklace with a Cross Pendant. Easy right?!

Happy April Fool's Day!
